Riviera Hotel & Casino

Having just celebrated its fiftieth anniversary in 2005, the Rivera Hotel and Casino has become a legend in Las Vegas and Nevada. It is known for its incredible hospitality, high class gaming, and headline entertainment. Now featuring ICE, a beautifully choreographed skating exhibition imported directly from the exotic near east of Russia, the legendary entertainment reputation of the Riviera is without a doubt well deserved.

The casino at Riviera is one of the biggest and best on the Strip. Offering a blend of classic favorites and new innovations, Riviera’s casino is nothing short of fantastic. It boasts tried and true games such as Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette, right along side adventurous twists like Mini Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, Spanish 21, and Caribbean Stud Poker. Also, a multitude of gleaming slot machines will entice any novice or experienced player. If these aren’t your personal favorites, then you are sure to enjoy the Race and Sports Book, which is one of the most well known wagering centers in Las Vegas.

If you have been one of the many who has been swept away by the waves of poker hype that have swept the nation and indeed the world, you will be happy to learn that the Rivera casino also offers a luxurious poker room. Featured games include a $2-$4 Limit Texas Hold ‘Em, and No Limit Hold ‘Em. Tournaments take place at 10 am each day, with a featured $44 buy in. Also, 1 pm and 8 pm Sunday tournaments take place also for a $44 buy in. All tournaments are No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em style, and 15 hours of play earns you a free roll tournament.

Once a long day has been spent testing both skill, luck, and nerve in the casino, most guests either want to retire to their spacious and elegant guest rooms, or else enjoy a meal in one of the many casual and fine dining locations. Choose Italian food, and head to Ristorante Italiano, where you can enjoy the home style elegance of Tuscan and Northern Italian fare. Or, enjoy a beautifully grilled steak at Kristofer’s Steak House. More casual dining options include the Mardi Gras Food Court, World’s Fare Buffet, and a fifties style diner, affectionately dubbed Hound Doggies.

After dinner, why not retire to your room to relax and get some rest. Rooms are available in 3 sizes and levels. Standard rooms feature two double beds and close proximity to the pool, while Superior rooms offer a stay in the Mediterranean North Tower with larger floorplans and a choice of a King size bed. Beautiful views of the pool or the Strip are available, and Superior rooms’ location places you close to the heart of the casino. Deluxe rooms, however, live up to their name. Spacious and luxurious, Deluxe rooms are located in the Monte Carlo Tower, just between the main casino area and the convention center. Refrigerators, King size beds, and large bay windows are the standard in Deluxe rooms.

Most people come to Las Vegas to play hard and relax. Of course, the two don’t really go together, and after a long day at the tables, what you need is a massage or one of the many other relaxation, beauty, and health treatments available at the Riviera Spa. A few of the treatments offered include full deep tissue massages, back-neck-shoulder massages, face cleansing, body salt exfoliation, and tanning.

When you look at it closely, the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is one of the ultimate vacation destinations for people of all ages and from all around the world. No place affords you better accommodation, entertainment, and gaming all in the same spot. Chose Riviera for your Las Vegas vacation, and you will not go home disappointed.
